Automobile Exhibition Pavilion in the Bois de Boulogne in Paris 2003
Created for an automobile exhibition in the Bois de Boulogne near Paris, this pavilion combines the aesthetics of a reception area to the functionality of a flexible structure, which can be easily taken down.
The structure is raised 1,50m above ground to avoid land irregularities while insulating it from humidity. It is embedded in its natural environment: trees run through the structure made from light but solid materials.
Natural luminosity filters through the bay-windows' blinds into the exhibition rooms.
