Interior architecture for the Racing Metro
DATE : 2011
AREA : 80 m²
CLIENT : Racing Métro
Opened in 2012 in the Parisian Golden Triangle, this second Racing 1882 shop is an important step in the brand’s redeployment.
Having to be a reflection of the Hauts-de-Seine club’s image, the shop is the link between the team it represents and its fans, but also between a purely sportswear universe and a more casual chic one.
This new flagship had to be warm and welcoming as well as elegant and affordable, meeting the expectations of what the fans of the oval balloon would have.
In this 250m2 space, Nelson Wilmotte conceived of a sales space for which he created the whole display based on the colors of the team: Combining presentation blocks with the iconic white and blue stripes representing the team, black shelves and raw brick walls, the space presents all the codes of an assured masculinity without ostentation. He also thought of a place of conviviality by offering a lounge on the first floor mezzanine.
